CONFIDENCE: Littler cruises through his Premier League 2025 campaign.

The 18-year-old has now secured his fourth win in this tournament, after successes in Glasgow, Brighton and Cardiff.

Night two in Glasgow saw a 6-5 victory against Humphries, meaning his second in the tournament against his closest rival.

Humphries and Littler are most known for their clash in the final of the World Championships 2023, where Humphries beat 16-year-old Littler 7-4.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, ‘The Nuke’ says that he initially didn’t feel motivated to play Humphries that night.

“I’m playing too well for them not to be playing against the board as well as me”, he said.

“The winning feeling (motivates me) …even winning the first game tonight, then you can relax, go onto the semi-final, see what you can do and then go onto the final.

“Even when I came down to the bottom of the stairs, I was tired, I didn’t want to come here, and it was another trophy and another two points on the line.”

In the opening throws, Littler went 4-0 up with the world Number 1 coming back in the fifth leg and the teenager wrapping it up to finish 6-1.

The Premier League of Darts will continue every Thursday night until the final in London on May 29.

UNDER PRESSURE: ‘Cool-hand’ Luke Humphries is thrashed by ‘The Nuke‘.
